2014
SOP Tampa is back baby!
The SOP Tampa chapter was very active in the 1970's and 80's but sadly died out in the 90's. Our fearless founding fathers Savvas Ferekides, Karter F. Lenardos, Chris Scarfogliero, Greg Koutroumanis, and Harry Koutroumanis beat the odds and brought back our loyal chapter.
2015-2019
SOP Tampa is an active chapter once again!
The Sons of Pericles Tampa has been a very active chapter since our recharter. We have gone to Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter conferences. We also have fundraised for multiple charities. We have won awards such as SOP President of the Year, the AHEPA National Scholarship, and many more! We currently shoot for Chapter of the Year.
In 2019 we won District 2 SOP Chapter of the Year! As a Chapter we are very excited about this great achievement! We humbly thank our National and District lodge for helping us achieve this great goal. We plan on achieving Chapter of the year in the future.
2020
SOP Tampa is bigger and better!
In 2020 we have huge goals. We are currently fundraising for the SOP National Project. We will soon attend the Fall conference (location TBD). We are currently fundraising by selling custom SOP water canisters, custom SOP Tampa t-shirts, and holding Pammachon events.
Our goal is to impact as many people as possible in the best way. All of our brothers are active members and in good standing with our church. We meet regularly on Sundays at Panera after service.
